Plückerian, a. Math.
(plʊˈkɪərɪən)
[f. proper name Plücker (see below) + -ian.]
Applied to certain equations or formulæ expressing the relations between the order and class of a curve and the number of its singularities, investigated by the German mathematician Julius Plücker (1801–1868). Plückerian characteristic, one of the quantities occurring in such equations, denoting some characteristic of the curve.
